Chemical will also be applied to protect crops from attack by harmful pests and diseases. Increased populations has also necessitated the use of artificial fertilizers to raise crop production.

For the positive part of it, producing food artificially has helped the federal government ensure food security. However, the practice has brought in problems that did not initially exist. Doctors have criticized modern technology for generating dangerous diseases such as cancer. It has been established that cases of cancerous cells have increased proportionally to the advancement of artificial farming.

Leading spas in many states are blaming modern cooking methods for the complications affecting most of their clients. For this reason, they have come up with different diet plans to assist their customers recover from problems such as overweight. They assist one achieve the targeted aim at the same time ingesting enough nutrients for his body. One of cooking methods being discouraged is deep frying which is applied for most fast foods. Though it makes more appealing and sweet foods, it has been found that it results in excess fat being deposited on such foods.

Doctors are nowadays encouraging members of the public to stay away from preserved products where possible. Preservatives help us store edible materials such as beverages and canned meat for long periods. This is an excellent way of ensuring no supply uncertainties as it is possible to prepare and store enough for the market.

Preservatives are made of chemicals some of which have negative implications for human well being. Since we cannot avoid them in our diets, we should think about how we can limit them by applying them only where necessary. The ones that have extreme implications should however be eliminated completely from preservation.
