Make sure your diet includes foods that are loaded with omega-3 fatty acids. You'll find this healthy EFA in foods such as flax, seaweed, and salmon. By the way, the kiwi fruit is rich in omega-3. When your cardiovascular system is healthy, it means your blood circulation is healthy as well. Optimal blood circulation means a body that is functioning at a higher level. There are two benefits to this: better absorption of nutrients from the foods you consume and more efficient elimination of wastes. Your metabolism will be at an optimum level, which could only help with your weight loss.

The Paleo diet is one diet that you can follow because it will let you eat various superfoods to lose weight. There are others but this one is significant due to the premise on which it is based. You could imagine our early ancestors eating natural foods with most of these foods being plants. You can adapt this to your own diet today by consuming plant superfoods in order to shed unwanted pounds.
